Description : Ultrastructure of Dinomyces arenysensis infecting Alexandrium minutum. Encysted zoospore attaches to the theca of the host. Encysted cells produce a germ tube that penetrates into the host through the gap between thecal plate. The germ tube contains endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondria.
